Tideglass explores that transient moment when shallow water turns to glass—when rays of light slice through currents, reflect onto the surface and shimmer beneath. Layer by layer I built transparent oil glazes to preserve the glow of the underpainting, allowing color and movement to live together.
The original 60″ × 48″ painting was purchased for the collection of Apollo Global Management Headquarters in New York City, where it lives on as a quiet counterpoint to a bustling workspace.

Printed on archival cotton canvas using water-based giclée inks for accurate color and long-lasting vibrancy.
Stretched over 1.5″ deep wooden stretcher bars; mirrored edges continue the image cleanly around the sides for a gallery-style finish.
Optional white wood float frame adds a refined presentation and increases total depth to 2″.
Each piece is finished with a protective UV coating to help guard against fading, moisture, and surface abrasion.
